LED mirror light not working? Before calling anyone, run through these checks — 90% of issues are one of the first four.
1. Check the power source
Plug-in mirror: test the socket with a phone charger. Hardwired: check the wall switch and the MCB/fuse for that circuit.
2. Touch sensor not responding
Touch sensors need dry fingers and a dry glass surface. Wipe the sensor area, wait 10 seconds after power-on, then long-press 3 seconds. After a power cut, most sensors reset to OFF — this is normal, just tap again.
3. Lights flicker or are dim
Flickering almost always means a failing LED driver (the small transformer box behind the mirror or at the plug). Drivers cost ₹250–₹600 and are replaceable without removing the mirror on most models. Dimness on one side can mean a loose strip connector.
4. Half the mirror lights up
A section of the LED strip has failed or a connector has come loose. Strips are replaceable — do not attempt to open a sealed mirror yourself; moisture sealing matters in bathrooms.
5. Demister (anti-fog) not warming
Demister pads take 3–5 minutes to warm and only remove fog in the pad zone. If it never warms, its connector has likely detached — a service visit fixes this quickly.
When to claim warranty
LightMirror.in mirrors carry a 5-year warranty covering drivers, strips and sensors. If your mirror is under warranty, do not open it — contact us with a photo/video and we will arrange repair or replacement parts.
